Blogfest Asia 2010

Best part of it, it's in Penang!! Probably the only reason why I'll attend anyway, I'm not too big of a blogger myself and my friend call me a visitor farmer for sharing lyrics. Oh well, when there's a demand there's a supply. Why would anyone want to know about my daily life as if I'm some hot chick anyway?

2010 Blogfest.asia will be held in one of the top tourism spot in southeast asia – Unesco Heritage Site, Georgetown, Penang.
Blogfest.asia is a festival for bloggers in Asia. This is the region’s 2nd cross-border gathering for blogger community. Everyone is welcome to join the festival and meet hundreds of bloggers from the neighborhood community. Participants will be able to learn blogger / blogging activities in perspective countries / territories, and interact with key bloggers in Asia.
The 3-day Blogfest.Asia ’2010 event program at-a-glance will consist of:

• one evening gathering / welcome dinner exclusively for participating bloggers (1st Oct evening)
• half-day conference (2nd Oct)
• 2010 Mybloggercon award (2nd Oct evening)
• workshops and group discussion (2nd Oct & 3rd Oct)

Blogfest.asia will support and work closely with associated blogger community and events in the region. It will also serve as an ideal hub, community exchange point, and action camp for bloggers in Asia to make technological and social impact for the benefit of the region.

Now now, I could barely say that I'm a blogger, juggling myself between work, JCI career and some other part time stuff that I'm doing. I left my blog unattended most of the time, until there's some inspiration crossing my mind and it's too much for facebook to handle. Well Facebook is a microblogging site after all, so when there's something minor which cross my mind, why bother making a long blog post? Also the big problem about myself, once I start writing, it will start somewhere then end up elsewhere! If I start writing about Harry-Pussy-Potter, I'll might then switch to Twi-cosmetically-fail-light, and it might end with X-pwnage-Files!

Seriously, REGISTER FOR BLOGFEST ASIA 2010! I don't know if it will be a blast, don't blame me if it's boring since I'm not part of the organizer. However, rest assure that at some corner, you'll see me yawning and dozing off if it is, and I wouldn't mind you coming over to slap me saying that I lure you to a boring event. Heck why not we ponteng class and go out for a teh tarik if that's the case? On me lah aduih, teh tarik in Penang ain't that expensive!
